Dr. Kenyon Anderson
Dr. Kenyon Anderson was raised in northern Idaho in the small town of Orofino. He received his Associates Degree from Ricks College in Rexburg, his Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. Dr. Anderson attended optometry school at the University of Missouri St. Louis. He graduated with honors with his Doctor of Optometry Degree in 2005 with certification in both diagnostic and therapeutic medical eye treatment. Dr. Anderson received the GP Lens Institute award for Clinical Excellence in the field of Gas Permeable Contact Lenses.
While in school and during his rotations, Dr. Anderson worked with many premier contact lens and medical eye care practices. These include Washington University and Barnes Eye Institute in St. Louis, MO, The Eye Foundation of Utah in Murray, Utah, Koetting and Assoicates and Vision Care Consultants both in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Anderson traveled to Bolivia for an SVOSH mission trip to help improve vision for the underprivileged in Bolivia. He enjoys working with all patient needs including patients with diabetes, glaucoma, dry eye, allergies, kerataconus, and other eye health conditions. Dr. Anderson works with the patient's diabetic physician in managing and preventing vision loss due to diabetes or insulin resistance. He works with complex contact lens fits and was the first to bring Synergeyes contact lenses to southeastern Idaho. Dr. Anderson co-manages Lasik, refractive and cataract surgeries. He enjoys caring for the whole family, including infants, children, and adults.
Dr. Anderson began practicing in Southeastern Idaho with Dr. Kenneth King Jr. in Idaho Falls and purchased the practice in 2006. He loves spending time with his lovely wife and 6 children. He takes pride in providing his patients with the best vision care possible
